The Latin Club is a student club organisation of Griffith University (GU). We are a student body that promotes Latin Culture in and around the Gold Coast.
The Latin Club currently holds regular weekly dance classes throughout the semester, which include, Salsa, Cha Cha, and Merengue classes. We also run traditional flamenco and capoeira classes for those trying to find an even more unique experience of South American cutlure. Also the party spectacle of Rumba Latina. Known to be one of the biggest parties on campus and one of the most popular events on the Gold Coast. The Rumba Latina continues to attract students from Griffith University, locals, and regional areas.
 The club objectives for the Latin Club are:
- To promote the Latin Culture on campus.
- To promote the integration among those who are interested in the Latin Culture.
- To represent the Latin Culture at Griffith University, Gold Coast Campus, on matters of concern to them.
- To co-ordinate events an activities that will promote cultural awareness and exchange.
We also contribute towards the growth of Latin Events and functions on the Gold Coast with a latin organisation known as Latin Ozi. Our Latin community network continues to grow as we have strong relationships with regional latin bands, latin dance schools, musicians, ethnic groups, and performers.
