The Latin Club is proud to promote and be affiliated with Capoeira Zambiacongo, one of Australia's largest and most renowned Capoeira groups.
Capoeira Zambiacongo promotes individual and community values based on Respect, Co-operation and Freedom. It is a social integration tool, abolishing violence, discrimination and pre-conception, making friends and respecting all.
In our multi-cultural society it also offers a mixture of cultural activities which empower and enrich a participants character, dignity and personal value. Our aim is to form new Capoeira Instructors and Capoeira players with a vast knowledge of Capoeira and its fundamentals.
Lead by Master Luizinho Barravento Capoeira Zambiacongo - Brazil & Australia, has grown to more than 2000 members consisting of Mestres, Mestrandos, Contra-mestres, Professors, Instructors and students.
Through Master Barravento's passion the Zambiacongo has grown immensely opening high quality schools in Gold Coast, Brisbane, Byron Bay, Kingscliff and Darwin.
